Tienshan Stoneware   Prairie Soup Wide Rim Soup / Cereal Bowls ~ Set of 4 Description : Tan and red barn doors separated by either green or red geometric panels on classic white.  The 1-1/4" wide rim drops rapidly to the floor.  A narrow band of green rim trim completes the pattern. Interesting fact : Tien Shan, is a large mountain range located in Central Asia.  Tienshan pottery is made by Tienshan, Inc., who is not, as the name implies, a Chinese company.  It was founded in Norwalk, Connecticut in 1978. They do however, manufacture stoneware and porcelain dinnerware in China for export. Condition : Preowned doesn't get much closer to MINT than these.  There are some very light scuffs, utensil marks and water spots on the floors.  Otherwise, there are NO chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites, fractures, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs or any other cosmetic / structural issues. The colorful graphics remain pristine, and the black backstamps are crisp, fully legible and certify: "[Logo Tienshan ® Stoneware ~ PRAIRIE ~ Made in China] " . Status : Discontinued.
