This is the earliest battle in recorded history for which details of tactics and formations are known. It was probably the largest chariot battle ever fought, involving 5,000 - 6,000 chariots. Both sides claimed victory and the conflict resulted in the world's first peace treaty, The Treaty of Kadesh, signed in 1258 BCE.

The earliest archaeological evidence of papyrus was excavated on the Red sea coast. The modern technique of papyrus production used in Egypt for the tourist trade was developed in 1962 by the Egyptian engineer Hassan Ragab using plants that has been reintroduced into Egypt in 1872 from France.Papyrus is still used by communities in the vicinity of swamps. particularly in East and Central Africa. People used papyrus to make baskets, hats, fish traps, trays and floor mat. Of course it can also be used for Painting like the one we show here.
