Being offered is this very grand American silver-plate wine bottle holder or cooler in fair to good vintage condition (see condition report). This substantial and imposing object, which stands 6in/15cm high, is made to resemble riveted basketwork with bands running horizontally around the outside. It bears an 18thC-style escutcheon surmounted by a lion's head and script engraved "PRJ". It will  bring a dash of antique style to your dining table and prevent any bottle-ring stains on your furniture! Gorgeous & baronial!
