Window is 15 1/2 x 25 and has a traditional triangular design with a circular design and a red center surrounded by flowers. The inner border is blue with orange flower dividers and the thin outter boarder is the same light green glass as the center triangles. The window is inscribed in the lower right corner - Designed and Executed By Maurice Heaton. He invented a process in 1947 for firing and shaping his glassware in the studio furnace, which started the ball rolling for the studio glass movement of the 1960s. Heaton's work spans seven decades, and through his unique range of murals, window hangings, lighting fixtures and tableware, he is considered by many a "true original" (Neues Glas, April 1985).
