This features the 1st true appearance of Star-Lord (Peter Quill) with his original ORIGIN Story. Later Marvel completely changed Peter Quill's Origin. This, Marvel Preview #4, Origin was later retconned and the astronomical phenomena and murderous not-father were removed. Instead, J'son of Spartax - an alien with a human appearance - crashes on Earth and strikes up a relationship with Meredith. {As we now know, in GOTG Vol. 2 Movie; there is a completely different Origin / Father story} The Very Large photos are NOT stock photos and are of the actual comic you will receive.
