MOSFETs are like little relays that don't wear out and don't make a sound when switching. This breakout board makes it easy to switch loads on and off using your favorite Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone or PIC microcontroller. They can be used to turn high-drain loads on and off, like RGB LED light strings, motors, heaters etc.
The board uses 3 N-channel MOSFETs. While each MOSFET can each handle up to 32 Amps, the board and connectors are the limiting factors. You can switch all 15 Amps through one output, or spread the current through all 3 MOSFETs - as long as the total current through the board does not exceed 15 Amps. You may damage the board or connectors if you exceed this limit.
The board has 3 outputs, so it is perfect for controlling RGB light strings. It can also control 3 motors or 3 heaters ...
A customer made a 3D-printable enclosure for the board. eBay doesn't allow links, but you can find it if you search for "tinkercad MOSFET Breakout board case".If you need 4 outputs then take a look at this board.
