The rubber silencers are the black rubber band that goes around the edges of the dog tag To Keep Them Quiet When Worn.I Have Been Printing Dog Tags At My 2 Military Surplus Store For More Than 30yrs For The Military & Armed Forces. They are included with the dog tags so you can leave them on the tags or take them off . The reason for having a military silencer around your ID tag is it helps keep the tags quiet so they don't clank together and make noise when your trying not to be detected.
(What If I Don't Know My Blood Type) If you don't know your blood type for your military tags, you can leave it blank. Please Do Not Guess your blood type, if a medical emergency provider was see these around your neck or on your key chain (In Any Emergency) they may think that is your true blood type and that could cause a problem.
