Weight approx. 1 lb, 5 ounces. DESCRIPTION: Vintage watering can by Carl Aubock. Hand fabricated brass with woven cane wrapped elements. Signed: “Aubock; Made in Austria”. Circa 1950s. Austria. CONDITION: The can is slightly pushed in at the top edge of where the spout joins the can. There is a slight separation to the seam on the underside of the spout where it joins the can. The can is not watertight in this area. Will need a solder repair. There are three tiny superficial dings to the can: One ding is near the area where the bottom of the side handle connects to the can; there are two dings on the opposite side of the upper half of the spout side (These were not easy to capture in photos). There is a small bend to the to the lip of the can. There is some loss to the wrap at the underside of the side and top handles. Please consult photos for a detailed visual description. Otherwise in excellent condition with no damages and no significant wear. No other dings, bends or separations. No significant rubs or scratches to the exterior. No missing or replaced parts. No repairs or restorations. Untouched old patina as found. No reserve!
