A lovely ensemble of three mold-formed amulets formed from either green or blue-green faience. The smallest amulet depicts a recumbent, emaciated lioness with a petite suspension bail on its back, perhaps symbolic of Sekhmet, the hunter goddess of warfare, strategy, and the protector of the pharaohs. The second amulet is a zoomorphic depiction of Tawaret, the hippopotamus goddess of fertility and childbirth. The largest amulet depicts that of Pataikos, the bow-legged dwarf god meant as a protector and a mitigator of violent natural forces. A wonderful gathering of ancient Egyptian deities! Size of largest (Pataikos): 0.7" W x 1.4" H (1.8 cm x 3.6 cm).
