Item:272508173410You are looking at a Ming dynasty green glazed terra-cotta tomb figure dating to circa 1368 – 1644 AD. These figures were typically found in groups, sometimes in a procession. In antiquity, some of the figures would have been carrying flags; some were cast carrying books in one arm. Acquired in 1990 from Syarikat King's Art, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for $2,750 by a well-known Miami antiques collector. The original invoice including pictures will be provided to the buyer. Condition Overall good condition for its age with surface chips and nicks as shown. Beautiful glaze and color.
