Here's an interesting English cruet set from LANCASTER & SANDLAND of Hanley and estimated to be of about 1930's vintage.  It is a three piece set, S/P and mustard jar in a DECO style metal holder which is marked on the base wire, HAND MADE, 0351, ENGLAND.  Two of the three ceramic pieces. pepper shaker and mustard  have  unmarked metal tops with a small metal spoon for the mustard (which may or may not be original). The spoon has an ENGLAND mark. These ceramic pieces, including the open salt, all are covered with a all over (chintz-style) gold floral pattern. The metal topped pieces both have an additional colored chintz floral transfer pattern most prominent on one side, but flowing onto the adjacent sides as well.  L & S  has a similar pattern called ALICE BLUE in which blue is flowed over the plain gold decoration, but with the same colored floral transfer pattern. These pieces do not have the blue so I assume the pattern name is just ALICE. All ceramic is in mint condition. There are two different marks on the ceramic, shown in photos 5 & 7. All the metal components need polishing.
