The fragment depicts the majestic figure of Vishnu Sleeping on the Cosmic Ocean, outstretched in his slumber wakefulness, lying on the coils of the world-snake 'Ananta-Shesha', or Nagaraja, the infinite king of Nagas, while its three hoods shelter the gods crowned head.xxxxx Vishnu abides in the Lotus fields attended by his consort Lakshmi, the goddess of beauty, wealth, and prosperity, kneeling at his feet, shrouded by a paired phoenix arched above , a deity holding two snakes while riding the head of the mythical beast Kala, celebrants, a devote mother and child, while Lord Brahma who was born of the Lotus that emerges from sleeping Vishnu's navel, is elevated in meditation on a lotus flower. xxxxx The multi-arm reclined deity is shown unclothed above the waist adorned in mere jeweled ornamentation, wearing a short stylized Sampot, secured by an elaborate belt wrapped around his waist, and decorated in a draped fish-tail central panel. He wears a conical headdress, bound by an inter-connected Angkorian style 'diadem' crown. His face appears serene, with arched eyebrows set over almond-shaped eyes, a broad nose, wide mouth, and elongated earlobes with triangular earring pendants. His left hand holds his attribute, the club, while the right arm supports his sleeping head.
