This is from an original black and white photo that was hand colored by long time Hawaii professional photographer Bill Romerhaus, of North Shore Photography who has been shooting and selling photos of historic surfing, Hawaiiana, stock, and scenics since 1967 to professional galleries, publishing, media, and corporate clients worldwide. His most recent work has appeared as background art in the NETFLIX "Finding Ohana", HBO Pilot "Rocky Point" CBS/Eye productions "Magnum P.I." & "Hawaii 50", Sony Pictures "Soul Surfer", Disney/Dreamworks productions "Fright Night", ABC Television pilot "My Generation", CBS/Paramount Network TV series "The Cleaner" on A&E Networks, Universal Pictures "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and Warner Brothers  "The Big Bounce", filmed on the North Shore or on Oahu, providing vintage photos of nostalgia, and surfing for background artwork.
