Julius Keilwerth SX90R Alto Saxophone - Vintage. About and History: This is a Julius Keilwerth SX90R Alto Saxophone, keyed in Eb. Purchased in 1997 while I was heavily involved in music. The sax was very well cared with routine maintenance performed professionally a few times per year while it was played. Serial NumberSerial number is 104142 (see picture of serial stamp) from my research this would indicate a production date sometime near 1996, however I'm no expect so please do your own research if date of production is important to you in a purchase decision. Condition: No major damage to the instrument, it has never been dropped or abused beyond normal use from practice and performance. There is some brass that is worn and areas of typical wear for a saxophone but nothing out of the ordinary for an instrument that was played frequently. Linkages, cork, and pads may require some basic maintenance. Before listing this instrument was played. I did not notice anything else wrong however, after shipment I highly recommend you have a basic tune up performed.
