Seller: fromthebeatofbutterflywings (2,760) 100%, Location: Klamath River, California, Ships to: US, JP, Item: 131977303220 Shigaraki Teapot. This work reminds me of Furtani Michio but please use your best judgment. There appears to be markings to base but I am unable to decipher them. Holds about 3 1/2 cups of water. Weighs 1 pound, 11 ounces before safe packaging. Measures about 5 1/2" to lid finial and 9" to top of handle x about 7 1/4" from spout tip across body. I admired this at an estate sale and the friend that had accompanied the collector when she had bought it in Japan remembers that this was considered by her friend to be a very important piece of Shigaraki. This collector had a amassed a large collection of Asian pottery, textiles and beads from her life long travels around the world. I will be listing additional Japanese Pottery pieces from her collection as well. Condition: The tip of the spout has a shallow chip measuring about 1/4" x 1/8" (see last photo), otherwise very good condition. Packaging and Shipping: This will be safely packaged. Two different shipping options are provided. International shipping to Japan: Two options are provided. First Class is less expensive but slower than Priority. Please select the shipping option to best suit your needs. Condition: Please read main description and view all photos., Main Color: beige
