Seller: ridepot (1,076) 100%, Location: Topeka, Kansas, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 132008300849 All the overhang brackets and what is left of the gable end brackets from a 1910 rail road depot. I de-assembled this depot in 2008. It was located in Highland Ks. It originally was a St. Joe & Grand Island depot later to become a Union Pacific depot. I am publishing a few pictures of the depot before I started. As you can see some of the gable end bracketry is missing. There should be enough left to reconstruct or rebuild depending on your use. Most of the paint has worn off from setting outside. The roof pitch was 8/12. In other words for every 12 inches of run it rose 8 inches. As you can see in pictures most of the brackets are about 5 foot X 4 foot. The longest boards are a little more than 12 foot. You will be getting all the brackets that were on the depot. Years ago we built a house using a similar bracket. If you would like to see you can do a search for Footprint const. in Topeka and in web site look for DEPOT HOUSE. I only have space for 12 pictures so if you would like more I think I can forward 5 at a time through ebay. Here is a link to pictures of de-assembly. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/archiveThumbs.aspx?id=35324 Or a search for Highland Kansas Railroad Depot brings up even more information. Here is a wonderful architectural salvage item with lots of documentation and history.I am selling as pick up only but am willing to work with you on shipping. I would load in your shippers truck at my address for free. I am in the 66617 zip code. You can pay on pickup with cash only unless other arrangements are made. PLEASE NOTE!!! THEY HAVE BEEN STORED OUTSIDE AND MOST OF THE PAINT HAS FALLEN OFF. THIS MAKES IT EASIER TO STRIP REST OF PAINT DOWN TO BARE WOOD. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
