Seller: ardon7 (145) 100%, Location: Barrington, Illinois, Ships to: US, Item: 293367000209 This auction is for a mid to late 1800s antique wooden knife tray or tool carrier. This heavy carrier is constructed entirely with square cut nails and what I believe is white oak. It is structurally solid and sound, with a shrinkage crack in the bottom board. The old finish on it shows wear. If one wanted to, it could use an oiling or waxing to bring out the dry wood grain. The sides are slightly canted. The rectangular cut out handle is rounded. Please look at the photos - · The bottom measures 16 3/8” long by 10 ½” deep. · The top of the tray measures 16 ¾” long by 11” deep . · The sides of the tray are 3 ¼” deep. The bottom of each tray measures 14 ¾” x 4 ¼”. Please let us know if you have any questions or need clarification or further photos. We will be happy to combine shipping.
