HILUX VAL - Variable Anamorphic CinemaScope Projection Lens - Vintage - Nice. Vintage HILUX VAL Variable Anamorphic Lens made by Projection Optics Co. N.Y. This lens is in very good condition - exterior is nice and the element adjustment knobs/locks work smoothly. The glass is good - no scratches - some spots and dust on the inside element surfaces - the lens is designed so it can easily be cleaned - a copy of the instructions included. NOTE: It does have some spots near the edges on the internal elements. The spots appear to be just on the surface of the elements - not inside them as they look like single pieces of glass. I did not try to clean them. Could be fungus? It is 10" long and 5.5" in diameter - weighs 11 lbs.
