Seller: jaspersantiques (1,663) 100%, Location: Des Moines, Iowa, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 382545793863 Note all items are from estate of 1st LT Louis S Rush who was killed in action at Oberscholven while aboard his B17 named Badlands Bat II sn 44-8371. He was with the 615 Bomb Squadron. He was killed in action February 16, 1945. LT Rush was the navigator of said plane. A photograph of LT Rush wearing what appears to be his tan uniform with this visor cap, appears on website Americanairmuseum.com. Please note that grouping suffers from extensive moth damage which will be noted in description per item. Airflow brand, tan wool soft bill visor cap - size 7 1/4. Hat is heavily mothed however Officer’s Eagle, buttons, sweatband and visor are very good. Conqueror, Officer’s dark green gabardine shirt - heavily mothed. Approximate size 15x36”. Has blue felt AAF patch to sleeve. Dark green wool pants - approximately 28” waist and approximately 31” inseam. Pants need laundered however appear overall in good serviceable condition. Overseas cap - size 7 3/8, with pin back, first LT bar. One moth nip to hat, decent for display. Lauterstein’s San Antionio Officers, tan wool (pink) shirt - approximate same size as other shirt, heavily mothed to rear, front is good and would display good on static display. Has blue felt AAF patch to sleeve. British tailor made, Tan wool (pink) pants - approximately 28” waist and approximately 31” inseam. Solid overall, with no moth damage, however shows some staining.
