All lamps are made from real antiques, and other found items, and construction includes machining, welding, polishing, and re-wiring- - -these are not make-pretend steampunk pieces made from "new" Home Depot parts. In most cases these lamps are being sold at little over cost of obtaining the This particular industrial lamp started life as your run-of-the-mill brass goose neck lamp, but then things changed once my husband got his old think tank going. The basic parts of the original lamp remain, but there is the addition of a large polished brass gauge, and an old antique water faucet.  Sooooo now the desk lamp has become somewhat of a conversation piece.
