The certificate tells us that the scarab was sold to 'Capt. A.D Side' on, '10-10 1943 and is genuine'. 'The object is of the 20 th dynasty B.C. 1400. Found in Deir El Bahary'. There is also an interpretation of the hieroglyph hand written information is as follows and relates to a hand drawn diagram of the inscription as can be seen in the photograph : 'Blessing scarab 1) Boat of God RA God of the sun. 3) Seat of Goddess Isis Goddess of love. 4) Ra God of the sun. 2) Sacred eye of God Horus for protection'. 'The guarantee is given to ensure that the' scarab 'can be examined at any of the world museums- Maguid Sameda held the 'Egyptian Museum License No. 108'- there is a stamped reference, 'No. 1513' this is probably his own referencing system for The scarab is 1.9 cm by 1.3 cm and 0.9 cm in depth. To have this amazing scarab with such good provenance is unusual.
