The Viking Press, 1980
First Edition, First impression A near fine signed copy with a near fine dust jacket. Boldly signed by Stephen King on the half title page in black ink. All first edition points present including the first edition statement on the copyright page.
The book is in beautiful crisp, clean condition with black paper and orange quarter cloth boards. The boards have sharp corners, and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. Bright, unfaded gilt titles to the spine. Stephen King flat signed as “Stephen King” on the half title page. The interior of the book is in crisp clean condition with bright, flat pages with no handling marks, no stains, no foxing, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. Beautiful condition book internally appearing as crisp and unread. Please see images.
The original unrestored dust jacket presents in near fine condition. The dust jacket has vibrant colors with no nicks, no chips, no edgewear, no rips, no stains and no fading but a very slight soft crease near top of spine (hard to even see). The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of $13.95. A beautiful stunning dust jacket.
A very handsome example of this scarce signed title with a bold signature! Would make a wonderful special gift for a Stephen King collector.
