Seller: doscuba1 (384) 100%, Location: West Falls, New York, Ships to: US, Item: 132512982986 300-PLUS Classic Horror Comics & Mags Including COMPLETE 181 issue “FM” database! #001-#191 (1958-1983) Ackerman run including the “Missing 9” issues PLUS many extras! After exhaustive research, I discovered that virtually ALL of the other FM databases for sale, even some that are being sold here on eBay, are all missing the same nine issues: 83, 84, 93, 106, 123, 128, 178, 186 and 188. You can search and search all you want, but you will NEVER find a Famous Monsters of Filmland database that includes ALL 181 issues in digital form at this price anywhere. These “Missing 9” are what I’m selling, however, I’m including free of charge, the other remaining 172 issues of FM, along with well over 120 other tidbits of horror pulp comics ranging from the 1950s-present. That’s over 300 issues for less than $10.00!! For those of you who grew up devouring horror comics and magazines like I did, this database is for you! I’ve taken a LOT of time, compiling what I feel is THE most COMPLETE database of the original Forrest J. Ackerman/Warren Publications collection of Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine found ANYWHERE on the internet for sale or otherwise. I’m not a professional collector or a “world-class” comic book aficionado, I just grew up loving FM, Warren Publishing and EC horror comics like “CREEPY”, “Tales from the Crypt”, etc., and it galled me to see so many databases out there were so scattered or incomplete. I’m just an average dude that took the time to purchase the hard copies of these 9 issues, scanned them, and listed them here to share with other like-minded fans. This has been a labor of love for me and I wish I could share it for free, but I have to at least recoup my expenses in creating this database and supplying it to the masses. That’s why you won’t get any frills like a colorful custom label or plastic DVD case with a fancy-schmancy insert; just a plain-Jane silver DVD in a paper sleeve that I’ll let you mark up with a sharpie any way you see fit. I’d gladly charge $19.99 or more for presentation but at the end of the day, when it comes to digital media, all that matters is the “stuff” that’s on it, not how it looks. So here you go, no frills, just the stuff…did I tell you it’s all for less than $10.00?!? WHAT I’M SELLING:Original scans of what I term the “missing 9” issues of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine in PDF, CBR and CBZ formats (Issues 83, 84, 93, 106, 123, 128, 178, 186 and 188) WHAT I’M THROWING IN FOR FREE:The remainder of the original 181* issue run (#001-#191) of Famous Monsters of Filmland in PDF format.Famous Monsters of Filmland Yearbooks 1962, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1970, 1972 and 1982 in PDF format.Famous Monsters of Filmland “Monster World” #1 (1964) and #5 (1965) in PDF format.Additional random 24 issues of FM starting at #200 thru #284.CREEPY 4 issue limited edition series (1992) in CBR format.CREEPY yearbooks (1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1993) in both CBR and CBZ format.CREEPY cover gallery in CBR format.CREEPY presents series – Bernie Wrightson, Richard Corbin and Steve Ditko - in CBR format.EC Horror Comics (1950s) in PDF format: --Tales from the Crypt – 28 issues. --The Haunt of Fear – 28 issues. --The Vault of Horror – 29 issues.Weird Vampire Tales (Eerie Publishing – 1970s) – 4 issues. **NOTE: For those of you that might not be as well versed as others in the different file formats as well as converting them to other formats, I am also including free information tools and/or links (as well as a GREAT tutorial on how to convert PDF to CBR and CBZ! ) to be able to view these amazing American pop artifacts in whatever your format of choice might be, i.e. *.CBR, *.CBZ, *.PDF, etc. There’s no bidding required, no “Best Offer” option, and I will keep this listing active for as long as these things are selling, but DON’T WAIT! If I don’t get an immediate enthusiastic response at $9.99 + FREE Shipping, less than a single issue of some magazines that are on newsstands now, I will NOT lower the price, I’ll just fold my tents, deactivate this listing, and cut my losses…SO ACT NOW! (Sorry, continental U.S. orders only.) With the world in such a chaotic fragile state, as people clash and crash into each other over everything from politics to which flavor cell phone is better, it always makes me smile and feel just a little bit better to enjoy these vanishing shadows of a more innocent bygone age. I hope you decide to enjoy them the way I have. Thanks for reading, and hopefully, I’ll be hearing from you soon! **NOW AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT!!** *James Warren and Forrest Ackerman created a jump in issues numbering, from issue 69 which was printed in September 1970, to issue 80 in October 1970. They did this because it brought them closer to issue 100, so the original issues jump from #69 to #80, thus #001-#191 only amounts to an actual 181 issues.
