Seller: evintage ✉️ (11,750) 100%, Location: Kingwood, Texas, US, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 292576185453 FULL Vintage Feed Sack, Other Cottons Machine Set WILD GOOSE CHASE ? Tied QUILT. The quilt was made using several feed sack fabrics, and others that are 100% cotton but not feed sacks as far as we can tell. The white fabric used for the business side and the backing (not shown, as explained before) is 100% cotton, but not feed sack. The setting of the triangles and the blocks was done by machine. The quilt is tied, as is it easy to notice in the close-ups.  There is thin cotton batting between the pieced top and the backing. The quilt is thin, but because of the fabrics is a tad heavy for its size: it measures approximately 82" by 64", but it weighs 3 3/4 lbs un-boxed.  Please notice the feed sack triangles that the makers used as border all around the quilt; a close-up shows some of them. The fabrics used there are, some of them, used also as part of the pieced top. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60". We combine shipping. 
  • Condition: The only flaws found are the stains shown on close-ups # 11 and 12; there are also some very faint stains (dampness spots, probably) ON THE BACKING that DO NOT affect the business side. Because the backing has no other flaws than does almost impossible to notice stains, we did not post a photo of it, as it is just white cotton with no special features. No holes or bad seams found, no missing ties, no wear on the edges, no odors.
