  Product Summary:

The Elephant Alpha SB Series SB-025-15 Chain Hoist is small and compact, so it's popular in Japan's automotive and assembly line industries. The grade 80 steel load chain is case-hardened and corrosion resistant. This hoist features an overwind protection device that helps protect it from over-lowering or over-lifting. Forged steel hooks are designed to slowly open as an indicator, in the event of an overload. The bottom hook assembly has 360° movement. The double brake design features an electro magnetic brake along with a mechanical load brake. The pendant control is 115V at the pendant, and the control length is always proportional to the lift unless otherwise specified. The pendant is rated 4X by the National Electrical Manufacturers' Association (NEMA). The pendant's IP rating is IP65. The hoist itself is rated by the American National Standards Institute/American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ANSI/ASME), with an H3 duty rating. H3 ratings are usually suitable for general machine shops, general fabricating, assembly, storage, and warehousing. The hoist's IP rating is IP54, sealed from the ingress of dust and protected from splashing in any direction. The hoist is manufactured in accordance with ASME B30.16, and is load tested to 125% of the rated capacity with a test certificate included in each box. The hoist also conforms to European Conformity (EC) Machinery Directive 89/392/EEC, Annex II A for quality assurance. JIS / ISO M4, FEM 1A rated. Made in Japan.
