These fine feathers come from a mature male peacock. These feathers are bright and beautiful. The color ranges from pure blue to a grey base and they are highly sought after.

These lovely Peacock Feathers are harvested by our family in New Zealand from feral birds. The family business harvests most of their birds for themselves. They eat or share all the meat from the birds, and the frames are used to feed other animals. Nothing is wasted in any of their processes and no poisons were used in the control for the pest birds. There vision is to educate, inspire and promote sustainable living though modelling this in their personal lives and in their business practice. Our Bundles include 25 feathers each.

Our feathers are New Zealand sourced feathers, sourced as part of their pest management operation. They have been frozen at -18°C and then removed from freezing, stored in a pest controlled room surface treated with Permethrin(6.5g/kg). The feathers have been vacuumed packed in situ prior to shipping to the US.
