Seller: moahs (949) 99.4%, Location: Santa Barbara, California, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 232687287847 This is from a sell off of surplus items from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Probably sold off in the 1950's from the museum. This lot contains 1 small clay bowl and 9 "buttons" - not sure if they are markers, coinage, scarabs or something else. They were inside the bowl but that could just be coincidental. The lot also includes the original envelope that shows these items to be surplus items from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Egyptian Collection with pencil markings "We think (underlined) 4000BC". Not sure if the pen markings were part of the original sale info or not. The bowl still has a catalog or collection number stuck to the bottom. Material: Pottery
