Egypt Third Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty (ca 1069-945BC) A nice blue glazed faience shabti for Nes-pa-her-an, with very well defined facial features.. Provenance: Deir el-Bahari, cache II. Nice blue glazed faience, detals added in black. The hieroglyphs say: "The Osiris, Nes-pa-her-an" The shabti measures 102 mm and is competely intact and unrestaured!!! The name Nes-pa-her-an means:" He who appears with a magnificant face). He was an important priest, with titles "Priest of Amun, Wab-priest of Khonsu, Writer of organisation of the temple of Amun and Priest of Maat".
