NOTE: Please disregard the camera flashbulb glare reflecting off the glaze and rim angle of the plate. This is a beautiful Early 19th Century (first half) Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Mandarin Decorated Dinner Plate. It measures approximately 9-7/8" in diameter and is in absolutely beautiful estate condition with NO chips, NO repairs, and NO restoration. It shows only production period characteristics of trapped sediment on the backside and age appropriate wear, noted with stacking wear/rubs to the gilt accents and enamel losses in the well area, as shown in the photos. The backside shows a faint, tight 1-5/8" hairline, NOT visible from the frontside. The vibrant mandarin colors show crisp definition and clarity, accented beautifully in gilt. The beautiful Rose Mandarin dinner plate could certainly be integrated into an existing service or displayed for its authentic antique period qualities. This comes from a great estate of antique Chinese export porcelain that we are continuing to list.
