Follow the SHIPPING instructions at the bottom of this page to compare all available shipping options and for direction re: changing shipping carriers/method.. PLEASE NOTE: I am not an antiques expert, but searched online images until finding shakers just like these...quite certain they are now identified correctly. Usually I pass up salt & pepper shakers, but these are exceptional. Lancaster Glass Works 1901-1902 Set of Pigeon Blood Salt & Pepper Shaker Setin the Flower Band Pattern Condition - AS FOUND -no cleaning. Beautiful matching salt & pepper shakers, both with lids. There are NO chips or cracks. There is one nick to the raised center of one of the flowers - it's difficult to see (final posted close-up photo). The shakers' openings are in unusually good condition, with only normal roughness. One lid screws on/stays on fine. The other stays on OK when you screw & push it in place - not sure if the threading on the cap is off a bit, but I assume so as I see no problems with the glass threading. Photos - Please use the multiple posted photos for more detail and to inform your own personal determination regarding condition. Photos were taken in varying light to show how the color presents differently in different light.Quantity - One (1) salt and (1) pepper shaker. To me, the non-expert, the lids seem unusually heavy.Color/Design - Red / Reddish Orange (Pigeon Blood). Raised flower design in a band around each shaker.Material - Glass (mold blown?)Age - 1901-1902Status - DiscontinuedManufacturer - Lancaster glass Co or Glass Works (I saw both names attributed to this pattern)Pattern - "Flower Band".Piece - Set of salt & pepper shakersSize - Both are approximately 2 1/2" tall without tops & 2 3/4" with tops on.Thank you for looking. And, if you decide to purchase, rest assured that your Salt & Pepper Shakers will arrive safely - I am an obsessively careful packer.QUESTIONS: Please use eBay's message system - only. HOWEVER, if you need an item quickly, please SEND ME A MESSAGE, and also select the shipping option with an earlier estimated delivery date. Occasionally, delivery may be slightly delayed - if your item is difficult to pack safely (i.e. a set of china, very large) - because I pack with extreme care to ensure safe arrival. RETURNS: EBay now penalizes Sellers financially for selecting a "no return" policy; but my policy remains: I do not accept returns....... unless: I have made some substantive, indisputable misrepresentation regarding a sold item (or some other obvious error) If such a mistake is made, I'll readily refund ALL monies paid, including shipping, upon the item's safe return to me. Why not accept returns? Returns are extremely time-consuming - for both Buyer and Seller. More troubling, is that often returns are avoidable. In an effort to eliminate my Buyers' need to make returns in the first place, I strive to provide exceptionally informative listings. My listings include clear, accurate and detailed item descriptions paired with multiple, carefully chosen photos - photos of the exact item being sold. These photos are taken and selected to convey specific detail/s, often detail impossible to convey in a brief written description.. Photos are taken from various angles and distances., under varied lighting conditions. Each photo is unique and is posted for a specific reason. Creating such listings is also extremely time-consuming, but I believe a much wiser use of time than is processing returns. Therefore, I operate under the belief that - if an item listing is sufficiently thorough, so long as the Buyer has read the entire description and carefully viewed all posted photos, then any need for return is practically obliterated. So Buyers, please, read and view all of this listing. Photos are an essential part of the description. Thank You. ***************************************************************from our smoke-free/one-dog home Condition: Very Good Condition., Style: Victorian, Primary Material: Glass, Maker: Lancaster Glass, Age: 1900-1940, Original/Reproduction: Original, Color: Reddish orange, Country/Region of Origin: United States
