It depicts a very dramatic fight between a pitbull terrier dog and a wolf. A hunter with his rifle watches on. They look pretty evenly matched! Tough dog.
The caption reads: Entre Chien et Loup
which roughly translates to: Between Dog and Wolf
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age. There is text/photos on the back of the print. See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
