At the bottom center is the coffin, surrounded on three sides by skeletons and above, on an upper ledge, are three more skeletons. All are there to greet the newly departed soul into the afterlife. Crank the heavy wire handle on the lower right side of this Day of the Dead diorama and all of the figures move at the same time. Each skeleton's arms raise, as the body in the open coffin rises up from beyond the grave to meet the rest.
