Description
Foot valves are used with water suction hose to prevent the water pump from loosing its prime when the pump is stopped for re-fueling. A foot valve is a type of one way check valve designed for de-watering applications, water pumping. The foot valve design includes a strainer to screen or filter out any large debris that might clog a pump and a flapper to keep the water from draining out of the hose if the pump stops.
