$86.00 11 Bids Sold, 7-Day Returns

Seller: 194t7 (1,380) 100%, Location: Rio Rancho, NM, Ships to: US, Item: 290636908358 Howdy! Up for auction is a custom handmade, hand forged railroad spike tomahawk. Made in New Mexico at the Cherokee Son Studio and Forge. The head has a sanded satin finish and is tempered to hold a good edge. I left the tempering colors on it, looks good with the high polished nickle head and butt caps. The head shows grindging marks and some pitting from forging, a little crude but rustic is nice. It's 6 5/8" overall, the bit is 1 5/8". Stamped CS on the bottom. The 15" handle is hickory. Decorated with brass tacks and file branding. It is not a camp hatchet. It's a combat tomahawk. Here's a little trivia: The spike came from the coke ovens track near Waldo, NM. The town operated till 1933 to make coke from the coal mined at Madrid, NM. Wild Hogs, Young Guns, Silverado and many more movies were filmed near by. It's a very cool area. Seven day money back return, buyer pays for shipping. Use shipping calculator. Pay Pal only. I ship promptly, Please pay promptly. Thanks for looking and please view my other listings, new items daily. Happy Trails.
