Maryland Colonial Currency, March 1, 1770 Strong signatures and serial number. Clear and bold printing on fairly bright paper. Very Fine. "The Sparrow Seal" ( Thomas Sparrow ) is shown on this note with the Latin phrase "Crescite et Multiplicamini" which means Increase and Multiply. The Sparrow Seal was first used in 1765. Altogether a very well printed note that will be a great fit in any colonial collection. Wonderful historic artifact.
