The center cancelation is a star pattern of slashes that result in less loss then typically seen, as many were canceled with a round punch. This piece comes from a high end estate of ephemera in the Portland Maine area. Roughly 7x 3.75 inches. This item is ungraded and being sold as found from a Maine estate. See photos. 1781 NEW JERSEY COLONIAL CURRENCY NOTE BILL 5 SHILLINGS Fr#NJ-200 PMG AU 50 NET - This is a rare 1781 New Jersey Colonial Note 5 Shillings Fr#NJ-200 serial number #14081 PMG AU50 About Uncirculated Net. The note is in really good sharp and hence the high grade and it looks well centered and has all 4 corners with nice definition and the reverse looks very stron definition and the net grading disclaimer says Surface Disturbance. I am not sure what that means exactly but it looks pretty darn good to me and it is a real piece of history of the beginnings of our country. Not bad for 241 years old in my opinion!
