How awesome would this look coming out of your haversack?! You will not find any sutler or Internet site that is selling anything like this item. This Civil War period exact reproduction soldered tin can is the exact dimensions and construction of the original tin that it was modeled after...difference is that the lid doesn't twist off but is soldered shut. I worked with a master tinsmith to have these produced for the community. This is not some thrown together label....this was researched from multiple sources and recreated with period fonts. I'm a long time Civil War relic hunter who hunts Winter Camps on private property with permission. I have come across pieces of these over the years. If you are going to dress the part then don't sit in camp with a crappy paper label slapped on a modern tin can of Coffee. The labels are all printed on heavier card stock that will last longer and not tear as easily as cheaper paper labels done by others. The cylinder tin is empty but soldered shut. This tin would compliment any Union or Confederate camp site or Victorian period impression or home. Look at pictures because you get one like this! I do not ship overseas. I do not combine shipping!
