Perfect for a bar, pub, coffee shop, restaurant, etc. This piece will definitely bring customers into your establishment. 1880’s-1890’s fully restored flame birch saloon back bar. Very ornate concave and convex crown top with extensive moldings and 4 tapered birch columns. Base cabinet with center section that houses a zinc icebox cooler and glass double paned doors. Solid brass hardware. Bar has been stained to match original finish. All new mirrors with a 6” bevel piece on each side of the center mirror. We are 90% sure it is a Brunswick bar due to each piece having stenciled identifying numbers etched into them. This was a Brunswick identifying marker. The bar comes in 15 modular units because they were originally shipped by rail. Bar is disassembled and ready for transport. Measures 22’x 9’6”x 30” deep. Included is a line drawing of the bar for reference. Own a piece of American history! Saloon bars were manufactured from 1880-1905. The majority of these pieces were destroyed after prohibition. This is a very fancy saloon bar due to the ornate crown work and flame birch wood. It was most likely in a hotel or other opulent establishment. All-wood bars in saloons were generally simple in style due to the rowdiness of the bar. More pictures available upon request.
