(What's Not Included) After we develop your film we sometime find problems which require a lot of extra time to scan. We now change a Special Request fee if we can't easily scan your film. Typically this fee applies if the frame size is larger or Smaller than normal, if large amounts of the film is very under exposed, the frames overlap or the film is damaged by the camera. The Fee is $5 per roll. You will be contacted before any fees are applied and have the option to not have that roll scanned. (What I can and can't develop) I Can develop 35mm, 110, 120, 126, 127, 220, 240 (APS) film. This includes Panoramic, disposable cameras and film from the Lomo 360 Spinner. I welcome expired film including very old C-22 which I am able to develop in color. I can not develop Disc film, anything larger then 120 film such as 116 or 4x5. I also can't develop anything smaller than 110) (Need Film Scanned?) If you need film scanned not developed I can do that too and this listing covers 1 roll of basic scanning. Message me for details. I can scan Super8 and 8mm film. I have many Analog service available. (Got Expired Film?) All film has an expiration date. If your film is past that date (normally 2 years from the date manufactured) the quality of the image on the film will most likely will be degraded. How the film was stored and how many years past the expiration date will determine the amount the image from the film is degraded. If the film was at any point stored in a hot car, shed, garage or Storage unit the image will be significantly worse than if stored in a house at around 70 degrees. If the film was stored in a freezer or fridge your results should be significantly better. Typically color film from the 70's and 80's is not able to be developed unless it has been frozen. With this said, I welcome expired film but the results are based on how the film was stored and you agree not to hold Andrew’s Analog Service Center (the seller) responsible for age related damage to the film. Typically Slide film (E6) degrades faster. Black & White film degrades slower over time. As of January 2020, we now specialize in developing very old film (C-41 and B&W). I have found ways to pull a black and white image from film which would normally develop totally blank. If you have very old film, don't delay. Let me help save your pictures from long long ago!! (Got a Question?) If you have question or are a bit confused or just want to talk about film, feel free to send me a message. (FAQ & Notes) 1. I do not cut APS film unless requested to do so.
