Up for sale is a gorgeous Blenko Glass amethyst hand blown art glass pitcher (7 7/8” tall, 11” spout to handles, 8.25” across) with an applied gold glass handle.

From a fine old Denver estate, it is in very nice condition, no chips or cracks.

"This is a large Blenko Glass Pitcher #9415 (introduced in 1994), designed by contemporary designer Hank Adams, who was at Blenko from 1988-1994. The pitcher is amethyst with a gold applied handle and has an exaggerated spout and pinched ice lip. This is a really interesting pitcher form, as it combines the control of mold blowing and the artistry of free-form glass blowing and hand work. The pitcher has a generous capacity of about 44 ounces  and measures about 7-1/2" tall, 10-1/2" across from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle, 7-1/2" x 8-1/2" across the opening, and 5-1/2" in diameter across the base. It is a substantial piece! The condition is excellent,  with no damage -- just some shelf wear on the underside. Interesting pontil -- neither rough nor polished, but filled (i.e. a rough pontil filled with a blob of glass to reinforce the underside of the domed floor of the pitcher)!"
