The Bulgaria 50 Leva Banknote was issued by the Bulgarian National Bank in 1951. It comes in a combination of brown, tan, yellow, purple, and red. The obverse of the paper bill depicts politician Georgi Dimitrov and the coat of arms of Bulgaria. The reverse features a woman wearing a national costume carrying wicker baskets in a field, picking roses. The banknote does not contain a security thread but bears a watermark that reveals Bulgarian text and a hammer and sickle pattern. The note is 157 x 80 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
