BUBBLES HARGRAVE SPORTMANS ST PAUL MN 1940s Baseball matchbook schedule SAINTS. Sportsman's bar matchbook cov er with the Saint Paul Club baseball team schedule in Saint Paul Minnesota. Features "Bubbles Hargrave" on the cover. Bubbles Hargrave (1892-1969) played catcher for several teams including Cincinnati, Chicago, New York and St Paul as manager for the 1929 season. He won the 1926 batting league title, the first time for a catcher. The schedule on the inside cover is for the St Paul home games C1940s (dates follow the 1944 calendar year). This is an original cover from our personal family collection. This is an UNUSED cover that was never folded into a matchbook or stapled with matches. Condition is very good to excellent as shown in the pictures.
