(* Hello, collectors! Welcome to Vassargirl1 , my eBay account for great antique and vintage clothing sales. I have a huge inventory of excellent finds that I'll be selling this month : cashmere sweaters, colorful scarves, fabulous party & festival frocks, fine jewelry, and an absolutely luscious trove of vintage lingerie. I'm listing them just as quickly as I can photograph them, so check my upcoming listings to see them all!

I'll also be selling an eclectic selection of antique textiles, Asian art, and 19th C. ephemera, as well as a large stock of unique buttons and sewing items. And be sure to visit my other seller account, Madras-and-moleskin, for fine vintage menswear and fascinating antique finds from a variety local estates!)

                                          ------------------------------

Please note- bidders must read all of the following information before bidding:

I ship worldwide, via USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail International, or USPS First Class Mail International. Upon buyer request, exceptionally large or heavy items may be shipped via USPS Parcel Select/ Ground Rate.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have fewer than five positive feedback scores, or if you have "private" feedback, please contact me BEFORE bidding; otherwise, I reserve the right to automatically cancel your bid. High bidder is to pay full cost of item via Paypal.

ADDITIONALLY: I  am a professional, full-time seller; I take my online sales very seriously, always posting multiple clear photos of every item, as well as stating its exact measurements and mentioning any flaws VERY clearly in the item description. I will not cancel any transaction due to the high bidder's failure to thoroughly read the listing or examine the photos before placing a bid. To do so could jeopardize my eBay seller status. I will not honor any requests to do this. Non-paying bidders will be promptly reported to eBay staff and barred from future eBay transactions.

I ship all items carefully wrapped in a sturdy box or well-padded envelope. I charge only the ACTUAL cost of packing and shipping; I do not charge an intentionally inflated price, nor add needless handling fees.  I always refund any surplus charges promptly, via Paypal.

All postal costs may be confirmed at the United States Post Office website, using zip code 14031. Payment must be received within four days of the auction's end, unless otherwise specified. Payment must be via Paypal.

International bidders- I am required to declare each item's full cost on customs declaration forms. The high bidder is responsible for any customs charges; fortunately, in most countries antique items over 100 years old are often exempt from import fees.

For Buyers purchasing more than one item:

I am happy to combine shipping costs as much as possible. Please realize, however, that some items cannot be safely –or economically- packaged together, depending on the size, type, and weight of the items purchased. Occasionally, purchases may need to be shipped separately- I will always do so in the safest, most affordable way possible.

Please do not bid unless you have an active Paypal account. Fraudulent buyers who request my e-mail address, my home address, or my bank account information will automatically receive negative feedback and be reported to eBay management . I reserve the right to cancel any bid for any reason, without prior notice.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:  I strive for the greatest accuracy in all of my listings. I double-check each and every measurement -especially when dealing with vintage clothing or artwork- and post only photos in which the colors appear just as they do in real life.    Rest assured all items are guaranteed to be exactly as I have pictured and described them. To that end, I require that bidders purchasing vintage clothing must accurately know their correct clothing size in standard US measurement sizes.

At my discretion, a refund in full or part may be granted if I have inadvertently made a highly significant error in the item description and/ or photos.  In such circumstances, refunds will be considered only for buyers with more than 10 visibly excellent feedback ratings- following the safe return of said item. Buyers with "Private" feedback must make their feedback ratings visible before any manner of refund is granted.

Please realize I do not provide any refunds on items the buyer has used or worn, nor any returns to due to belated buyer's remorse or the high bidder's failure to properly read the full item description.

An 8.75% percent sales tax will be charged to buyers in New York State.

    Thank you for your attention!
