Lead articles in the first two issues paid tribute to two influencers of Stickley and Sargent's design philosophies: William Morris  and John Ruskin . In recent decades, Stickley and his work have become popularly recognized once again. It is particularly his early furniture, produced between 1900 and 1904, that is often seen as appealing to collectors
