The church was torn down after unfortunately struck by lightening and sustained fire damage in 1978. The church has rebuilt a beautiful new structure utilizing the amazing stained glass from the old structure. The original structure was built in 1886 and was nearly 100 years old when damaged. I believe the arch was at the entrance to the penance room. The intricate detail of the rosettes and the twisted columns and dentil detailing is magnificent. It is an amazing architectural element that would be a grand showpiece in a commercial setting or stately home. The outer edge of the arch is unfinished as it is made to be built into a wall. We have been saving this piece for just the right application, but having decided that we may not have one, have opted to offer it up for sale in the hope that someone else has the opportunity to put it to good use. It is absolutely a stunning showstopper. The measurements are 107 inches tall X 85 inches wide. The base is 9'' thick. The arch is finished the same on both sides and retains it's original finish.
