The tray has an attractive Chippendale style edge and stands on four scroll form feet. The feet are similar to Onslow style, but with an interesting foliate design and upturned point, for a nice bit of visual contrast with the very classical design of the rim.

Spoon is in remarkably good condition considering that it's from 1790. From what I can tell on the Maker's market looks to be George Smith and William Fearn . The spoon does have a beautiful family crest showing a bird standing on what looks to be a wreath. Both the English silver mark of the lion passant and the Maker's Mark are not clearly seen. Early English Silverplate 12.25" Lobed Candlesticks by Elkington 1849 Date Mark - Up for sale an early pair of English silverplate lobed candlesticks by Elkington. The pair of sticks measure 12.25" H and the diameter of the base is 5.75" and is covered with green felt. The sticks both have the date mark "K" for 1849 which means these sticks are an early example of English silverplate. They also each have an armorial of a dragon or mythical beast. Very good antique condition with normal signs of age, wear and use. The candlesticks are missing their bobeches. A good silversmith could add new bobeches.

Wood is in great condition, and the area beneath the barb has marks as if it may have caught a few. The cotton cord wrapping is still holding tight and looks excellently wrapped. A masterful hook craftsmen must have made this one based on the construction. This is a fine piece for a Northwest Coast Collection. "The Tlingit and Haida, indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast (N.W.C.), have used carved wooden hooks to catch halibut for centuries. As modern fishing technology crept into use, however, the old hooks practically disappeared from the sea. But they thrived on land - as decorative art.

Very collectable George V period solid silver treacle tin with gold logo onlay. Textured sides with a rim to the base and top with recessed lid with flange on the edge for ease of removal. Matching polished silver base. Removing the lid reveals a clean interior. Originally for use on the table, bears the makers mark for Asprey London with hallmarks to all sections, see pictures for hallmarks. Some expected wear for age, but this is a gorgeous piece.
