- Vtg Russian / Asian Style Wooden Sleigh Toddler Cot Bed - This was an auction find. It was sold as a "Russian sled." It has some similarities to an old style Indian toddler cot bed. It has no runners- it may have had them at some point. It measures 40 inches long, 28.5 inches wide, 17 inches in height at both ends, and 8.5 inches in height at the middle. It does have some scuffs and scratches and digs; it is not perfect. We don't know how old it is, or who made it. It is what it is, and it's a beautiful thing. - Vintage Ornate Victorian CAST IRON & Metal Bed - Complete & Heavy - This vintage Victorian CAST IRON bed is wonderfully ornate without being garish. It was stripped of many layers of paint and was without rust. A metal primer was applied, followed by two coats of matte black paint with satin black paint applied to the ornate sections. The bed is in excellent condition and is very heavy as it is manufactured of cast iron not hollow tubing with cast accents. Dimensions: 45” H X 55” W X 80” L. - Beautiful Antique Queen Size Four Post Bed – Sri Lanka – GORGEOUS CARVED WOODEN - Offered here is this Beautiful Queen Size Four Post Bed. The bed has an attached custom silk bed skirt however, the skirt is torn in several places, is quite worn, and will most likely need to be removed. I am unsure of the age of the bed. It originally came from Sri Lanka. It is made of all wood, and has custom metal supports that hold up the sunken wooden slats. The slats could also be fit directly into the frame, for a higher profile bed. The knoll posts screw off as well. The bed frame has large brass screws that give it extra support at the joints. The wood is in good condition, however, there are a few places where the wood is beginning to split, and some of the spindles are loose, and will need to be re-attached. The frame is 74” tall at the top of the knoll posts, 41.25” tall at the center of the footboard, 48.

The bed is made from solid and veneered walnut with excellent hand carved details. The warm walnut coloring is outstanding and has a beautiful finish. This bed is in very good antique condition: there are minor nicks and scratches consistent with the bed's age. Note that the center supports between the rails are not with the bed (see photos). Dimensions: The headboard is 64" tall, 66.25" wide and 5" deep. The foot board is 67" wide, 37.25" tall and 3" deep. The original mattress opening is 55.5" X 77.75".
