Seller: torpeda66 (159) 100%, Location: Antioch, California, Ships to: US, Item: 274308833781 I is dated probably to late 1800's / beginning of 1900's. It is missing some inlay around the opening on the middle and along the neck ( see pictures) and some wear under the strings where right hand was playing (it was used quite a bit, it's missing few strings and I do not have a case for it). But that's about all the problems I can find. Otherwise it's in very good condition. I can read inside STYLE 235 which i understand Washburn's mid to upper model. Also inside the unit, contains the workmanship guarantee label along with an outer band containing the Chicago 1893 and the Antwerp 1894 awards. There are eight what appear to be mother of pearl inlays along the neck (8 total, all different designs from a star to various ribbon type designs). There is also a cross type inlay figure at the top of the tuning head which appears to be mother of pearl as well. A small stamped impression at end of neck below the serial number., an oval shape with a belt insignia surrounding a small guitar, with the words George Washburn on the oval and serial number in ink consistent with one on the label. There is a ornate metal plate on the back of the the tuning head that covers it completely. For sale As Is. If you do not intend to pay, please do not bid !!!!
