These columns are solid walnut with the expected cracks and wear from exposure. They are 6" in dia at the top and 7" in dia at the bottom. They had many coats of paint which we removed so the condition could be fully assessed. These columns are solid walnut with the expected cracks and wear from exposure. They sat atop pedestals and under either side of a gable portico over a stone porch. These will serve outdoors for decades to come if the cracks are properly filled again and they are properly prime and painted. Indoors, well, they would last more than our lifetimes combined.
