Greetings, and thank you for viewing my listing!   This vintage salt box was purchased by me at an antique store in Central Pennsylvania but is made in Czechoslovakia.  As you can see from the pictures it comes with the original wooden lid.  It was broken at one time (not by me) and repaired.  While the cracks are clearly visible, it does seem to be a sturdy repair job and has never fallen apart or needed to be re-glued. The lid is clearly aged and vintage as well.  There are no longer nails in the sides that hold it in place; it merely rests on top of the salt box (see photos). ***Please be sure and email me with any additional questions or request for pictures before purchasing as I do not do returns on items such as these.   I would be happy to entertain serious offers.  However, since I am offering FREE SHIPPING in this listing I would need to know the zip code where I would be sending it.   Thank you!
